Refund Policy

The time of your refund request is defined as the time that you submit our refund request form.

Refund Schedule

NYC Sports will provide a 100% refund for refund requested within 72 hours of the purchase being made so long as the refund is requested at least 48 hours in advance of the beginning of the league, camp, class, or other event associated with the purchase.

When submitting a full team payment, NYC Basketball will only be giving season credits towards future seasons as a "carry-over" credit.

AFTER 72 HOURS OF PURCHASE - NYC BASKETBALL CREDIT

Cancellation requests submitted 15 days or more before the scheduled start of the relevant season or program will receive a 100% refund in the form of NYC Basketball Credit (less a $50 admin fee) to be redeemed on other NYC Basketball activities limited to availability and capacity.

Cancellation requests submitted 8-14 days before the scheduled start of the relevant program will receive a 75% refund in the form of NYC Basketball Credit (less a $50 admin fee) to be redeemed on other NYC Sports activities limited to availability and capacity.

Cancellation request submitted 3-7 days before the scheduled start of the relevant program will receive a 25% refund in the form of NYC Basketball Credit (less a $50 admin fee) to be redeemed on other NYC Sports activities limited to availability and capacity.

Cancellation requests submitted within 48 hours of the start of the scheduled start date of the relevant program no refunds will be able to be provided.

Rescheduled Programs of Any Kind

In the event any type or program including but not limited to any league, team, camp, class, or event is postponed due to events or circumstances outside of the control of the Company, the Company will make its best efforts to reschedule the program as soon as possible.

We understand that the postponement of seasonal programming could lead to a rescheduled date that does not work well for customers. With this in mind, we will provide NYC Basketball Credit to anyone who is no longer able to participate in a program that has not yet begun as a result of any program start date being postponed by 8 weeks or more.

If an in progress program is postponed due to events or circumstances beyond the control of the Company, the company will make its best efforts to reschedule any remaining portion of the programming as soon as possible. There will be no refunds or credits offered for in progress programs that are postponed under any circumstances.

Alternative Digital Programming

For all youth programming including teams and summer camps, the Company has alternate digital programming planned in the event that it is not safe to have participants attend in person due as a result of Covid-19 or other circumstances outside of the control of the Company. Under no circumstances will refunds or credits of any kind be provided when the company provides alternate digital programming.

Team Captains may opt to carry full season credit over to any future season

Refund Approval Guidelines

Adult Leagues

It is in our sole discretion to give partial or full refund to players who do not follow our rules and policies or quit after having registered. It is should be understood that our fees are set based on a projected number of players. If a player is removed or quits, it is in our sole discretion to give partial or full refund and can withhold any such refund if and until a substitute player is obtained.

Registrants are not entitled to a refund because they weren’t placed on a team, a division, or a camp or clinic group they requested.

Refund requests are responded to within 5-10 days of the refund request form being submitted. Any refund or credit offered will be returned within 5-10 business days of a resolution being reached on the refund request.

Camps, Clinics, Classes, Youth Programs

It is in our sole discretion to give partial or full credits to participants who do not follow our rules and policies or quit after having registered. It should be understood that our fees are set based on a projected number of participants. If a player is removed or quits, it is in our sole discretion to give partial or full credit.

Registrants are not entitled to a refund because they weren’t placed on a camp or clinic group they requested.

We understand injuries happen, and injured players can contact league office as soon as possible in regards to rolling over credit towards future seasons.

Cancellation requests are responded to within 5-10 days of the cancellation request form being submitted. Any refund or credit offered will be returned within 5-10 business days of a resolution being reached on the refund request.

NYC Basketball Credit

NYC Basketball Credit can be used towards registration for any open league, camp, class, open run, clinic, or other basketball program offered by NYC Basketball. It can not be used for ticket offers from NBA teams or college event organizers or for any other 3rd party offers distributed by NYC Basketball.
